Skin Tags Removal

If you decide to have a skin tag removed, your provider may recommend a few option. Local numbing or anesthesia are not usually required, but may be used in some cases.

Skin tags can also be removed using cryosurgery. This involves freezing the skin tag with liquid nitrogen, which kills the excess skin cells and causes them to fall away from the surrounding area. Finally, cauterization can be used to remove skin tags. This entails using heat to burn off excess tissue and stop bleeding.
